Ambulance driver caught with 180 kg of marijuana

The drugs were discovered in six white sacks wrapped in plastic.

SUNSARI, May 4: Police have detained an ambulance driver with around 180 kilograms of illegal marijuana from Pidari, Ramdhuni Municipality-6, Sunsari.



The driver, Shiraj Kumar Sah, 25, from Barahakshetra Municipality-4, was arrested on Saturday night.

A police team from the Area Police Office, Ramdhuni, found the marijuana while inspecting ambulance number BR 38 P 5414. The drugs were discovered in six white sacks wrapped in plastic.


Police are currently conducting further investigation into the case.
