AirAsia to launch Kathmandu and Bangkok flights for 4 days a week, promotional ticket to cost Rs 9,990

KATHMANDU, Aug 13: Malaysia's low-cost budget airline, AirAsia, is set to start flights from Kathmandu to Bangkok.


AirAsia, which is launching flights from Kathmandu after five years, has decided to launch flights to Don Mueang in Bangkok for four days a week which includes (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday). The flights will begin from October 2.

AirAsia has set the ticket price for Kathmandu to Bangkok flight at Rs 9,990. This price is under promotional offer. This offer is only applicable for travel between October 2, 2024 and March 28, 2025. For this, tickets must be booked from August 12 to August 25.


The company believed that this offer will attract people as Bangkok is one of the main destinations for Nepali people.


This promotional offer can be received by booking tickets through the AirAsia Move app and AirAsia's partner Universal Tours and Travels. Similarly, tickets can be booked through the nearest AirAsia agency as well.


The starting price for a normal ticket on this route is around Rs 24,000.
