KATHMANDU, Jan 26: Air services, which were suspended in Upper Karnali including Jumla since Tuesday, have resumed from today.
Acting Office Chief of Civil Aviation Authority, Jumla, Rajiv Shrestha informed Republica that Tara Air and Summit Air flew from Nepalgunj to Jumla after the Nepali Army, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force (APF) personnel cleared the snow piled up on the runway of Jumla Airport.
Air services were suspended after two days of snowfall on the runway of the airport. Shrestha said, “There have been only two flights for today”.
Passengers coming to Jumla from Nepalgunj were stranded when the air service was suspended.
