KATHMANDU, Oct 7: Bajhang, which experienced a significant earthquake on October 3, continues to be shaken by aftershocks. Today, at 11:45 AM, the region was struck by another earthquake measuring 5.3 in magnitude.

The initial earthquake on October 3 registered at a magnitude of 5.3 at 2:40 PM, followed by a more powerful 6.3 magnitude tremor at 3:06 PM on the same day. Unfortunately, one person lost their life, and several others sustained injuries. Both private residences and public structures in the district have suffered damage.

In the aftermath of the October 3 earthquake, aftershocks have been ongoing. The latest 5.3 magnitude aftershock marks one of the strongest tremors during this period of seismic activity.
