RUPANDEHI, July 5: With the objective of implementing the programs and policies introduced by the government, Province 4 has appointed additional 195 staffers at various ministries.
The decision has been made following the announcement of the provincial budget. Bharatmani Rijal, chief secretary of the province, informed that there the province has vacant posts of 183 staffers only but has decided to appoint 378 staffers altogether. According to him, the number of staffers has been increased in all the ministries of the province as per the decision of the federal government.
Provincial ministers are hopeful that it will be easier for them to carry out the works and programs with more number of staffers. "We have added staffers in all the ministries," said Rijal.
The day-to-day work of the ministries has been affected as many staffers appointed earlier are yet to join office. This has been the reason behind the delay in lots of programs.
"So far, we have managed the works somehow but it will be difficult to do so after the beginning of the new fiscal year as we have a number of programs to implement," said Social Development Minister Sudarshan Baral.
