DHARAN, Oct 6: A 64-year old man has died of COVID-19 at BP Koirala Institute of Health Science (BPKIHS) in Dharan on Tuesday.
With this, the death toll due to COVID-19 in Dharan has reached 10 as of Tuesday. According to Dr Ashish Shrestha, joint spokesperson at the hospital, the resident of Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City breathed his last at 4:20 am Tuesday.
Dr Shrestha said the patient had diabetes and also had the history of tuberculosis. “He was admitted to the hospital on September 28 after his PCR report came out positive,” he said. The management of the dead body is being carried out as per the established guidelines.
