DHARAN, Aug 10: Twelve more people including two staff nurses at the Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS) were diagnosed with the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Thursday.

According to the BPKIHS administration, four of them are medics - two nurses, one helper at the surgery unit and a person from the lab. They underwent the lab tests in the course of contact tracing following the confirmation of COVID-19 infection in a lab staff who had returned to work from Saptari’s Rajbiraj, according to Dr Nidesh Sapkota, the spokesperson for the hospital. A son and a daughter of that staff were found infected.
