The house of Krishna Sapkota in Ambote of Taplejung municipality-3 came across the abrupt discharge of electricity from the sky, and caught fire in the incident that took place at around 5:30 am. The thatched-roof house was completely gutted in the fire.
House owner Sapkota and his daughter-in-law Ambika were injured in the incident, according to local resident Dhanendra Maden. Both are undergoing treatment at the District Hospital in Taplejung.
