KATHMANDU, April 4: Tara Air is ferrying essential food supplies to Simikot, Humla at the request Nepal Food Corporation.
Issuing a press statement on Friday, the company said that, it has started ferrying essential food supplies from Thursday with necessary approval from the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN).
The remote and rural areas of western Nepal are short supplied with food supplies including basic items like rice and salt.
Tara Air, a sister concern of Yeti Airlines operates in remotest part of Nepal namely Lukla, Jomsom, Simikot, Rara, Dolpa, Jumla, Phaplu, and Bajura.
