BAJURA, July 6: Normal life in Bajura district has been affected due to the incessant rainfall since some days. The risk of landslides has greatly increased in settlements located on steep hillsides and the transport service has been knocked off due to the obstruction of roads.
BAJURA, March 23: Bajura district has spent the least amount of budget allocated by the provincial government compared to other districts in the Sudurpashchim province. According to province officials, the district has managed to spend only 23% of the allocated recurrent expenditure and 6% of the allocated capital expenditure.

BAJURA, Nov 12: Rejina Nepali, who gave birth to a healthy baby at the Chhatara Health Post in Bajura district on November 2, died six hours after the delivery at the health post. That was the fourth child of the deceased, a local of Bishan Bazar, Chhatara. Her family members have blamed her death on the 'health post's negligence'.
