According to District Police Office, Chitwan, two pedestrians died on the spot after they were struck by the car, Ba 13 Cha 3215, at Bhandara along the East-West Highway in the district.
The deceased have been identified as 17-year-old Manish Paudel and Jasmita Uprety of Rapti Municipality-8, Bhandara, said police. Januka Koirala, 32, sustained injuries in the incident. She is undergoing treatmen at Bharatpur Hospital.
Area Police Office, Bhandara is investigating into the case after taking the car and its driver under control.
