The play, written by Govinda Bahadur Malla a long time ago, has been fitted in the present context. It tells the story of how a respected person's home is besieged by unfortunate events and the family members are pulled deeper into hopeless circumstances. Each of the characters' pain in the play is a satire against the society.The play casts Akriti Shrestha, Bijaya Karki, Kedar Shrestha, Jiwan Bhattarai and Praku Pandey, among others. According to organizer Kedar Shrestha, the actors rehearsed for three weeks before opening.
'Chyatiyeko Parda' is one hour and 10 minutes long, and will be staged till October 12.
