The arrested youth is Sher Bahadur Darji, 27, of Binamare-9 of the district.
According to the District Police Office, the alleged had slaughtered his own cow on May 15.
Police arrested him the next day and after investigation remanded to the District Court, Baglung pending further investigation.
According to the prevailing law of Nepal, killing the national animal is considered illegal. RSS
