RSSP candidate defects to UCPN (Maoist)

RAUTAHAT: Rastriya Shiv Sena Party (RSSP) candidate under the first-past-the-post electoral system Durga Paswan has defected to the UCPN (Maoist). Paswan was a candidate of (RSSP) contesting from constituency 5 of Rautahat district.



He joined the UCPN (Maoist) on Wednesday amidst a function at Paltuwa VDC of the district. He accused his former party of being undemocratic. [break]



However, RSSP Chairman Bikram Bam claimed that Paswan defected to UCPN (Maoist) fearing loss in the polls.
