LAMJUNG, Dec 9: As many as 12 people were injured in a jeep accident at Kalimati, near Marsyangdi Rural Municipality-8, in Lamjung district Thursday morning.
The accident took place when the jeep (Ga 1 Ja 6317) heading toward Peace Hill from Simpani fell some 50 meters off the road. “The jeep was carrying students and teachers of Ganesh Secondary School at Simpani,” said Homraj Tamang of Bhusme.

There has been a problem in rescuing two people from the jeep while 10 others have been rescued and brought to the District Hospital.
A police team from Khudi Police Post reached the incident site and carried out the rescue operation.
