The Bhutanese team took the lead through Chencho Gyeltshen in the fourth minute of the match played at the Chamlingthan Stadium to the delight of the local supporters. However, the Bhutanese club produced two goals in the second half to upset Machhindra. Nungpo leveled the scores at 2-2 in the 63rd minute. Yeshi Dorji then scored in the 85th minute to seal a 3-2 victory for Yeedzin, according to the official Twitter page of the organizers.

Machhindra had played a 1-1 draw with Mohun Bagan on July 22 and defeated Arambagh Krira Sangh of Bangladesh 4-1 on Saturday.
Machhindra will take on another Nepali side Laxmi Hyundai Manang Marshyangdi Club (MMC) on Sunday.
Earlier, Nepali league champion Laxmi Bank Three Star Club had edged past Team Bangladesh Jute Mills Corporation (BJMC) 1-0 on Tuesday to secure its berth in the semifinals of the tournament.
