PARASI, Nov 19: Police in West Nawalparasi arrested a 65-year-old man on the charge of raping a two and half-year-old girl.
The accused has been identified as Kum Bahadur Gurung of Sunwal municipality-6. Acting on a complaint filed by the girl's relatives, police apprehended him.

Gurung has been accused of sexually harassing the girl. The old man who was alone in his home raped her when she reached his home in the course of playing on Sunday evening.
Girl's medical test was conducted at the Prithvichandra Hospital. District Police Office's Information Officer Deputy Superintendent of Police Birendra Thapa confirmed the arrest. Police have launched probe into the case.
