KATHMANDU, May 2 : The Nepal Esports Association (NESA) is set to organize the 5th Nepal Esports Championship, which also serves as the selection tournament for the World Esports Championship, organised annually by the International Esports Federation (IESF). The Championship will be held in the first week of May.
President of the Nepal Esports Association, Suraj Dangol, said the country’s top esports players will compete fiercely in six main disciplines: eFootball, Dota 2, Counter-Strike 2 (CS2), Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) – Open, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) – Women’s Division, and PUBG Mobile. The selected players will represent Nepal to the regional qualifiers, and then to the finals of World Esports Championship.

The preliminary phase of the 5th Nepal Esports Championship has already been completed, according to NESA.
The Nepal Esports Association hopes that this competition will not only showcase the skill, dedication, and sportsmanship of Nepali esports players on a global platform but also serve as a milestone in the rapidly growing esports journey of Nepal.
