Four of them were caught at Hotel Deaurali in Pokhara Submetropolis-9 with 615 grams of yarsagumba and the fifth person was arrested with 16 grams of brown sugar from Prithivi Chok.[break]
The four caught with yarsagumba have been identified as Shiva Adhikari (20), Santosh Gautam (19), Hari Gautam (22) of Lwang ghalel VDC, Kaski; and Lila Sharma (40) of Aarmala VDC. According to police, they broke into a hotel room after a tip off that illegal yarsagumba trading was taking place. Police are investigating into the case.
Similarly, the person caught with brown sugar has been identified as Ganendra Thapa Magar (17) of Tanahun. He was arrested from the bus terminal at Pokhara Submetropolis-9.
