One World Theatre in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU, March 28: The Experimental Wing of One World Theatre is all set to perform Edward Albee’s ‘The Goat, or Who is Sylvia?’.



The charged and audacious staged reading, directed by Deborah Merola, will be enacted on Thursday, March 29 at 6 pm at Baggi Khana in Yala Maya Kendra, Patan.[break]



Merola brings together a cast of actors from the community who will stage the production to the exacting stands of Ablee in a staged reading which is sort of a full-fledged production.







Sameer Dixit is playing Martin, Mista Hosali as Stevie, Manoj Basnet as Ross, and Prakesh Sindhuliya as Billy.



The play deals with the issues of marriage and relationship, hence keeping in mind the mature subject matter requires that the play is only for viewers above 18.



The tickets for the show are priced at Rs 400 and Rs 200 for students with I.D. Reservation is advised and is available online from oneworldtheatreinnepal@gmail.com.
