Speaking in a news conference held at Rajbiraj on Monday, he said the government was on the verge of collapse and it was surviving merely in ´life support´ system.[break]
Party secretary Gajurel disowned the government saying it was not the government of his party.
"We have been calling for the dissolution of this government which has forfeited the people´s and the party´s support," he said.
Accepting that his party was beset with serious internal rift and that the faction in the party he is associated with has brought a separate program as the party establishment side has adopted a ´policy of surrender´ belying the people´s trust.
Gajurel accused the government of entering into various ´anti-national´ agreements like the Bilateral Investment Promotion and Protection Agreement (BIPPA) and agreement on the Upper Karnali, the Pancheshwar and the Kosi High Dam projects.
He claimed that the army integration and the peace process would not be complete without providing relief to the martyrs´ families and compensation to the conflict victims and the families of the disappeared people after constituting the disappearance commission.
