As part of the forthcoming Rio +20 United Nations Conference for Sustainable Development scheduled to be held in June this year, the music contest encourages young participants to express their hopes, concerns and thoughts of the future.
The contest aims to collect musical messages from youth all over the world on sustainable development challenges faced by the present and future generation of youth.
The winning team will be rewarded with a trip to Rio de Janeiro and an opportunity to participate in the conference and make the voices of the global youth heard through their music.
The Rio +20 Global Youth Music Contest provides a perfect platform for our young aspiring musicians to get their voices heard.
So think creative and let the music do the talking for you. The deadline for the submission of the contest is 15 February, 2012.
