Maoist leaders agree not to make controversial statements

KATHMANDU, Oct 26: Leaders of the UCPN-Maoist have agreed not to give controversial opinions before a meeting of the party’s central committee meeting, which is scheduled for November 3.



In the party´s standing committee meeting held this morning, they agreed not to comment on internal disputes and recently signed Bilateral Investment Promotion and Protection Agreement (BIPPA). [break]



According to spokesperson of the Party, Dinanath Sharma, Prime Minister and Vice-Chairman of the Party, Dr. Baburam Bhattarai informed about his India visit in the meeting.



Meanwhile, Standing Committee member Dev Gurung said the Central Committee meeting to be held on November 3 will review the army integration, BIPPA agreement and the party’s differences.
