272 COVID-19 patients recovered in last 24 hours

KATHMANDU, July 4: The Ministry of Health and Population has reported the recovery of 272 COVID-19 patients in past 24 hours.

KATHMANDU, July 4: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has reported the recovery of 272 COVID-19 patients in past 24 hours.

Spokesperson for the MoHP, Dr Jageshwar Gautam, at a daily media briefing on Saturday said that as many as 272 patients of COVID-19 were discharged from various isolation centers and hospitals after successful recovery.


Meanwhile, Health Ministry also confirmed 232 new cases of COVID-19, taking COVID-19 tally to 15,491. Of the total cases, 686 are from Province 1, 483 from Province 2, 525 from Bagmati Province, 1,133 from Gandaki Province, 3,942 from Province 5, 1,540 from Karnali Province and 3,582 from Sudurpaschim Province.


In past 24 hours, as many as 4,050 polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests were conducted at 23 different laboratories across the country.
