Sebon okays Century Bank’s rights issue proposal

KATHMANDU, July 22: Securities Board of Nepal (Sebon) has approved a proposal of Century Commercial Bank Ltd (CCBL) for 30 percent rights issue.

Issuing a statement, the commercial bank said that it has appointed Civil Capital Market Ltd as the issue manager.

  According to the statement, the bank has mobilized Rs 26.01 billion in deposit and extended Rs 22.83 billion in loans as of mid-April.

The bank has been providing banking services to its clients through 31 branch offices, 29 ATM outlets, nine branchless banking services and three extension counters.
