Nepal dominated the final day of the event with 12 wins while India won three matches. Nepal had earlier won 10 matches to take a 11-point lead on the first day. Both the teams collected a point each from halved matches. India got seven bye matches to Nepal´s one.[break]
Atul Lal and Krishna Kant Minawala of India became the best winning team after they were nine up with eight holes remaining against Nepal´s Madhukar Yakthumba and Gautam Sayami.
The winning pairs of Nepal were were Tsultrim Lama and Subodh Thapa, Vivek Rana and Kanchan Basnyat, Deepak Rajbhandari and Bijay Bahadur Shrestha, Gen Pyar Jung Thapa and Pradeep B Rana, Lt Gen Krishna NS Thapa and Maj Gen Gajendra Bahadur Limbu, and Rabindra Man Shrestha and Suhrid Ghimire.
The pairs of Maj Gen Gaurav SJB Rana and Deep Bahadur Basnet, Brig Gen Ramesh Bista and Gopal Chitrakar, Dr Pradeep SJB Rana and Pradeep K Shrestha, Dr Singha Bahadur Basnet and Robin Rana, Jitendra B Shrestha and Rajendra Man Shrestha, and Tamor Basnet and Kim Das also won their matches.
Likewise, other winning pairs from India were Prem Sachdev and Capt JP Singh, and PS Gaekwad and Chirag Doshi.
Meanwhile, Nepali team skipper Maj Gen Kiran S Thapa and Neeraj SJB Rana halved their match against Sultan Kaji and Kiran Deep Sawni.
Rekha Ghimire won the award in the women´s section with 42 stable ford points, while Arati Rana finished second with 34 points. Altogether six women golfers participated in the event played under the stableford full handicap format.
Likewise, Raman Singh won the longest drive award, Sultan Kazi won the closest to the pin award and Gopal Chitrakar won the straightest drive award.
The two-day event saw two hole-in-ones, but none of the golfers could win the KIA Picanto car put on the par-3 Hole No 10 for an ace.
Dr Singha Bahadur Basnyat had fired the hole-in-one on the par-3 16th on the first day, while Subodh Thapa did so on Hole No 5 on Sunday.
