KATHMANDU, Sept 28: One of the few trendsetters responsible for shaping the music scene, Nepathya is credited for introducing folk tunes to Nepali pop/rock genre.

And with their ninth installment “Aaina Jhyaal,” the band has come full circle, the quintessential Nepathya sound is back.[break]

Their latest offering “Jogale hunchha bhet” is already blazing the airwaves, and for the fans, it’s about to get even better. After a hiatus of four years they will be performing in Kathmandu on Tuesday.

Frontman Amrit Gurung, who does not prefer to sing on track, will be at Nepal Academy Hall with his entourage. The band is set to perform a mix bag of their earlier hits and also some songs from their latest album.

The tickets are priced at Rs 500 and 1,000 each, and the gates will open from 5:30 pm onwards.
