SURUNGA (Jhapa), March 27: As many as 20 persons including seven women were arrested for power hooking at Surunga of Kankai Municipality in Jhapa.
A joint team of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) Anarmani Distribution Centre and Area Police Office Anarmani caught them red handed on Sunday night while trying to steal electricity, Centre's Chief Rajiv Kumar Singh said.
The police have confiscated irrigation mortar, electric wires used to hook the central power line and electricity meter, NEA engineer Dhirendra Bajgain said. RSS
