Fire destroys 25 houses

KHAJURA, May 14: A fire that broke out at Narainapur, a remote village in Banke, on Friday afternoon has destroyed 25 houses so far.

According to Banke District Police Office, the fire spread at Ward No 3 and 4 in the village across the Rapti River is yet to be brought under control.

Effort is underway to douse the fire. The fire also killed a few cattle, said a local Slam Khan. Details are awaited.
