The tournament is being jointly organized by Kathmandu and Lalitpur units of the Federation.
Organizing a press conference here Thursday, president of the Federation Bharat Gurung said 16 teams including four international teams and 12 local teams will participate in the event.
The international teams participating in the tournament are teams from West Bengal, Hong Kong, Manipur and Kalimpong.
Likewise, NRT, RCT, Nepal Police, Nepal Army, MMC and APF are some of the national teams that will vie for the trophy.
The winners and the runners up will bag cash prizes of Rs150,000 and Rs 75,000, respectively, along with trophies and certificates. Each team will get Rs 15,000 allowance per match for the local teams. The tournament is expected to cost Rs 1.97 million.
Pepsi is the main sponsor and Sarina Housing and Rumpum noodles are co-sponsors of the tournament.
