KATHMANDU, Jan 22: All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) and England Football Association (EFA) on Wednesday signed an agreement for a friendly football match.
The agreement was inked on the occasion of 204th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic ties between Nepal and United Kingdom. The agreement was signed by chairman of ANFA Karma Tshering Sherpa and Loren Jones of England Football Association in Kathmandu today.

Chairman Sherpa said that the first friendly match will be held in England while the second will be organized in Nepal.
According to senior vice president of ANFA Pankaj Bikram Nemwang, the friendly match will be held in May this year. “We will also witness same match between Nepal and England in 2021 and ANFA will make its optimum efforts to give continuity to such kind of match in the following years”, he further said.
The first match will be played on May 25 at the Aldershot Football Club Stadium in England.
The second match will be hosted by Nepal and the date has yet to be fixed.
