About 40,000 people including President Dr Ram Baran Yadav, Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal, the CPN-UML Chairman Jhala Nath Khanal and UCPN (Maoist) chief Pushpa Kamal Dahal participated in the camp. Many celebrated actors and top bureaucrats, among others, also participated. [break]
Ram Dev, who was in Kathmandu for the second time to teach yoga, conducted an entry-free camp on Thursday in Pokhara, too. Over 10,000 people participated in the camp there. Also, thousands of people learnt various methods of Ram Dev´s yoga on their televisions.
According to Jivan Raj Kandel, member of the Camp Organization Committee, the yoga guru will visit Waling of Syangja on Friday where President Yadav will inaugurate one of the three Nepal branches of Ram Dev´s Haridwar-based Patanjali Yogapeeth. Ram Dev will fly to India on Saturday morning.
