It has been reported that the President´s visit was rescheduled at the last minute to prevent the possible encounter with former king Gyanendra Shah who was also visiting the same temple.
Meanwhile, a large number of supporters received former king Shah upon his arrival in the temple. They shouted slogans in favor of Shah, our correspondent Bikash Karki reported.
A large number of security personnel from Nepal Police and Armed Police Force have been mobilized for the security management as Janakpur has recently turn normal after reeling under protests and strikes for three days.
