BIRATNAGAR, Feb 21: The Armed Police Force (APF) on Sunday arrested three persons for involvement in robbery at a jewelry shop in Urlabari, Morang.



Kansha Dhimal, who masterminded the robbery at Ram Thapa´s shop, was arrested from a rented room in Damak on Sunday. Cash and jewelries worth Rs 800,000 were looted from the shop. Police had arrested Tek Bahadur Magar and Ram Tamang from Darbesa-6, Morang in connection wit the incident on Saturday.



Police also recovered an Italian automatic pistol, revolver and 17 rounds of bullets from Dhimal´s rented room.



Dhimal had masterminded more than six bank robberies in Morang and Jhapa districts in the past, the police said. Dhimal has admitted his role in the robbery.
