133 vehicles seized in Kapilvastu for operating without permission during election

Security personnel took control of the vehicles that were operating without valid passes. The District Police Office and its subordinate units had seized 133 vehicles by Thursday noon, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Ripendrakumar Singh confirmed.

KAPILVASTU, March 5 : During the election period, 133 vehicles operating without authorization have been seized in Kapilvastu.



Security personnel took control of the vehicles that were operating without valid passes. The District Police Office and its subordinate units had seized 133 vehicles by Thursday noon, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Ripendrakumar Singh confirmed.

According to DSP Singh, the vehicles include 126 motorcycles, four rickshaws, and three four-wheeled vehicles. The District Administration Office had prohibited vehicle operations without proper authorization.


The seized vehicles will be released only after the completion of voting, DSP Singh added.
