The 12th edition of ‘Golden Oak Crity Awards’ is set to be held on September 8. The announcement was made on July 21, Wednesday, during an event.
Golden Oak 12th Crity Awards will be presented in 31 different categories under the segment of mainstream advertisement creativity, technical and campaign category.
Himalayan Distillery introduces Silver Oak
This year’s title sponsor is Golden Oak brand of Himalayan Distillery Ltd. In the event, an agreement was signed by President Som Prasad Dhital on behalf of Advertising Association of Nepal (AAN) and Group Executive Director of Jwalakhel Group of Industries (JGI), Sashin Joshi.
The 12th edition of Golden Oak Crity awards will include the advertisements and promotional work which has been done from April 14, 2019 to the end of 2021. According to the association, the member agencies of the association can register for the nominations from July 22, 2022 to August 20, 2022.
A three-member jury including information, communication, advertising and marketing specialists Prof Dr Vijay KC, Prof Dr Bhoj Raj Aryal and Sujan Raja Shrestha has been constituted to select and evaluate the advertisements. In addition, there will be a separate committee formed for nominations in different categories, consisting of around 25 people including renowned persons and experts in the respective fields.
Similarly, AAN President Dhital stated that in the near future, there will be more collaboration between the Advertising Association of Nepal and Jwalakhel Group of Industries. Addressing the event, JGI Executive Director Joshi said, “I am happy that my group could participate in this event which reflects the current professional status of the entire media sector of the country.”
AAN started organizing this award event from 2003 as a collective collaboration of the media, advertisers and the advertising sector.
