Nepal beat Qatar by 104 runs at the IOE Grounds while Bahrain defeated Kuwait by 125 runs at the TU Grounds.
Nepal scored 208/9 in 40 overs with captain Prithu Baskota being the highest scorer with 40 runs. Qatari captain Tamoor Sajjad played a lone hand scoring 72 runs in his team´s 104.
Krishna Karki took three early wickets to wreck Qatar´s innings and they never recovered in the innings that lasted 23.5 overs.
At TU, Bahrain made 225 in 38.5 overs - thanks to a lot of extras bowled by Kuwaiti bowlers and a fine half-century from man of the match Pratham Kasyab.
Kuwait could only manage 100 runs out of 19.5 overs.
