ROLPA, Nov 27: A total of 116,531 population of Rolpa has registered themselves as eligible voters so far, said the District Election Office (DEO).
A data with the DEO said the total 108,271 (56,947 females and 51324 males) registered their names in the voter list in the fiscal year 2071\72 alone.

Likewise, 6,760 (2656 females and 4104 males) have been added to the total figure in the fiscal year 2072\73 while approximately 1,500 in the current fiscal 2073\74.
According to 2068 National Census, the district has a total population of 221,177.
Assistant officer at the DEO Man Bahadur Kunwar said the process was underway to register people in the voter list from a desk set up at the District Administration Office. RSS
