KATHMANDU, Dec 28: The main opposition party, Nepali Congress (NC), on Monday held a mass demonstration in the capital city Kathmandu demanding the reinstatement of the House of Representatives (HoR).
The demonstration is a part of nationwide protests that NC is organizing in all 165 electoral constituencies across the country against the move of Prime Minister Oli to dissolve the House of Representatives (HoR).
A march led by NC leader and lawmaker of Kathmandu-1, Prakashman Singh started from Bijuli Bazaar and converged into a mass assembly after reaching New Baneshwar Chowk. The agitating NC cadres demanded immediate reinstatement of the dissolved parliament.
