Maoists disrupt parliament

KATHMANDU, Oct 27: The lawmakers of the Unified CPN (Maoist) obstructed proceedings in the parliament on Tuesday.



After their disruption, the session has been adjourned till 3 p.m. Wednesday.



Meanwhile, earlier Tuesday morning, the secretariat meeting of the Unified CPN- Maoist´s Joint Mass Movement has announced the protest programs from November 1 against the government.



According to RSS, the meeting concluded recently decided to stage sit-in, encircle the government offices, organize blockade, rallies and strikes and conduct civil disobedience among others.



However, the meeting has also decided to emphasize on political consensus until November 1.
