The major political parties' leaders have warned the agitating side of their positive intervention in the BPKIHS administration if healthcare and academic activities suffer continuously.

Doctors, teachers and staffers at the Dharan-based BPKIHS have been protesting since January 9 demanding their promotion process be taken forward at the earliest.

The protesting staff have shut down all other services in the BPKIHS except for the emergency services.

The five parties, through the statement, have requested the protesting parties to move ahead creatively as, they said, initiatives were being taken to implement the agreements inked between the BPKIHS administration and the protesting parties in the coordination and presence of the five political parties.
