1 killed in road accident

RAJBIRAJ, April 25: A youth was killed in a road accident at Sitapur of Krishnaram Rural Municipality along the East-West highway on Tuesday, police said. 

The deceased has been identified as Om Praksah Chaudhary, 25, of the same municipality. The accident took place when a bus (Na 5 Pa Kha 1827) heading to West from the East collided with a van (Ko Ja 1551) coming from the opposite direction. 

Similarly, Rabindra Chaudhary of the same locality was injured in the accident and is undergoing treatment at Biratnagar based Golden Hospital. 

Police have arrested driver and impounded the bus for further action. RSS
