DOLAKHA, July 24: A person died while two others sustained critical injuries when a Bolero jeep carrying District Coordination Committee (DDC) staffers from Charikot to Kathmandu met with an accident at Bhirkot along Pushpa Lal Marga on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Nayab Subba Manohari Thapa of DCC, confirmed District Police Office, Dolakha.

The jeep skidded off and fell some 200 meters down the rough road at Bhirkot Majhigaun on Nayapul-Manthali road section at 2:45 pm today.

The jeep has been badly damaged.

 DCC engineer Narayan Shiwakoti and the jeep driver have been critically injured.

They have been taken to Kathmandu after preliminary treatment at Manthali, said police.
