A bright sunny day
And the hope of ray
One fine evening
It was Christmas Eve
Hand in hand thrive
We both were walking by a river bay
Her flairs of the skirt
Weaving its pleats
And within a wink,
An exchange of a blink,
She proposed me
A lass of youth I was
Not to miss a throw of the dice
Knowing nothing what a corpus
So called love it was
Remained I a fool’s errand
Astonished yet blushed
With a boon of winter!!
