Rami Malek, who recently won an Oscar for Best Actor, is in final negotiations to play the antagonist in the latest installment of James Bond franchise. The film will be directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, who came onboard as a director after Danny Boyle exited the project over "creative differences". It was being reported earlier that Malek was being eyed for the villain role, but his schedule on the last season of his breakout show "Mr. Robot" which shoots from March through July, was a hindrance.

Shweta Tripathi Sharma who recently completed filming her debut Tamil film 'Mehandi Circus' will next be seen alongside actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the upcoming film 'Raat Akeli Hai'. This is the second time Shweta has been paired with Nawazuddin after 'Haraamkhor' that won both of them much acclaim. In a surprise win, Peter Farrelly's biographical comedy-drama "Green Book", received the Best Picture honour at the 91st Academy Awards upstaging award season favourite "Roma". Alfonso Cufavoriteed two awards -- Best Cinematography and Best Director -- for "Roma", which also ended Mexico's dry run at the Academy Awards with Best Foreign Language win. Rami Malek won the Best Actor trophy for his performance in "Bohemian Rhapsody", while British actor Olivia Colman upstaged Glenn Close to win the Best Actress award for her role in Yorgos Lanthimos-directed "The Favourite". Marvel Studios produced "Black Panther" became the first superhero film to Best Original Score, Best Costume Design and Best Production Design.

Stanley Donen, the former dancer who directed some of Hollywood’s greatest musicals including Gene Kelly’s landmark “Singin’ in the Rain,” “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers” and “On the Town,” has died at age 94, according to media reports.
Under the collaboration of seven different theater groups of the country ‘Nepal International Theater Festival’ is scheduled to be inaugurated at the premises of Mandala Theater, Anamnagar.
