The deceased has been identified as Bimal Shrestha, 23.According to Sub Inspector Rajendra Bir Pandy at Area Police, Golbazaar, Shrestha was found hanged on a tree with his left hand's nerve cut off near Dhamini area of the district.
The incident took place just 100 meters away from Area Police Office, Golbazaar.
Police have said that they are investigating into the case to find the reason behind the crime.
Shrestha had been working as painter.
