KATHMANDU, Jan 11: All preparations have been completed for the second special convention being held in support of Nepali Congress general secretaries Gagan Kumar Thapa and Bishwa Prakash Sharma.
Organizers of the special general convention group shared this information at a press conference on Saturday, saying the special convention starting Sunday is fully prepared.
Stage Management Committee coordinator Govinda Pudasaini said all arrangements have been completed to hold the special convention in an orderly and grand manner.

He said the stage at the open ground of Bhrikutimandap will have 50 chairs, while more than 6,000 chairs have been arranged in the field.
Congress flags, banners, and publicity materials have been placed around the stage. Preparations are also underway to manage rallies coming from different parts of the Kathmandu Valley, the press conference was told.
Meanwhile, Accommodation and Food Management Committee coordinator Ramesh Dhamala said lodging arrangements have been made for 3,600 delegates attending the special convention.
He said delegates will be accommodated in various hotels in areas including Sundhara, Bagbazar, Thamel, the Airport area, Sinamangal, and Gaushala in Kathmandu.
