Federal Socialist Forum Nepal District Chairman Ashok Yadav and District Chairman of Sadhbhawan Party Pramod Sah among others have been arrested following the incident.The UDMF protestors had converged in front of DAO Sarlahi to burn copies of bills related to reconstruction authority and constitution amendment tabled at parliament. However, the protestors began vandalizing the office prompting police action.
The cadres had vandalized computer and printer at Passport Department of DAO Sarlahi.
The administration and UDMF are holding talks to release the arrested cadres.
The cadres have been staging protests in Malangwa, district headquarters, demanding release of the cadres.
