Purna Bahadur Biswakarma of Dolakha and Lokendra Chaudhary of Rautahat were arrested with fake Rs 1000 Nepali notes worth Rs 283,000.The notes were printed in Rautahat and were all set to be dispatched across the country, police said. Police have recovered 600 sets of Rs 1000 fake notes from the duo.
The duo were made public amid a press meet at Dolakha District Office on Thursday. "Biswakarma was involved in dispatching fake Nepali notes across the country," DSP Bel Bahadur Pandey said.
