Two arrested for murdering a man in Tokha

The victim, identified as Ram Limbu of Panchthar, who was residing in Chandeshwari, died after being attacked with an iron rod during a dispute.

KATHMANDU, Oct 10 : Police arrested two men on charges of murdering a 40-year-old man in Tokha Municipality-2, Chandeshwari, on Thursday night.



The victim, identified as Ram Limbu of Panchthar, who was residing in Chandeshwari, died after being attacked with an iron rod during a dispute.

The suspects, Ganesh Lama, 27, of Udayapur and Khup Bahadur Tamang , 40, of Sindhuli, were arrested the same night. According to police, the two allegedly assaulted Limbu with an iron rod during an argument, inflicting severe injuries.


Limbu was rushed to the Trauma Center for treatment but was pronounced dead upon arrival. Police said an investigation into the case has been launched under homicide charges.
